Installing a window can be tedious and tiring, especially when done alone, and more so when it’s a complicated piece like a double hung window. That’s why we have taken it upon ourselves to be true masters of the profession. Renewal By Andersen® of Long Island gives you an idea of how we install your windows and how we tidy up after ourselves.

How Do We Install Windows?

First, we make sure to inspect all parts of your home for the window installation. Once we finish, we offer all possible suggestions and services that will best fit your goals. When installing, we make sure to test the smoothness of your window sill. This includes testing the operating mechanism and reviewing the paint and frame, followed by a double-check of all components. However, just because we finish installation doesn’t mean we’re done yet.

How Do We Clean Up?

We understand that the process of installing replacement windows can make a bit of a mess. We don’t want to leave the burden of our work behind, so we make it a point to clean up every time we finish.

During the installation process, we always make sure our tarp is covering all possible areas that will be affected. While we do our work, our tarp will catch any dust, rust or dirt that piles up.

When we finish, we then give a thorough cleaning of all your installed windows by wiping them down. At the same time, we sweep up or vacuum any remaining debris on the ground and wrap up our tarp. We emphasize cleaning our messes to leave your home just the way it was before we arrived.
